Nevis Highland Dancing
A Lochaber based Highland Dancing School that was formed in an effort to bring Highland Dancing back to the Lochaber area, they needed a small site to inform the parents of what was happening and being one of them here is what I came up with…
A simple WordPress site with some pages as a horizontal navigation, which being Text only allows the user to add or change them.
The whole site hierarchy is portrayed inside the horizontal navigation, so visitors to the site can access almost any page by using just one navigation, although calls to action are made on the home page to push the “Registration” process and the “Help Us” section along side the news (which would obviously be important for the parents to see).
The footer area includes the contact information (to make it easy for people to contact Admin) and some quick links that allow visitors to get to the “Special Sections” from any page. Also the main two sponsors of the business are allocated a space in the footer.
All in all a clean smooth design that has a lot of space to grow and will allow for future expansion of the services, like; showing results of competitions, adding a section for people to Donate or buy raffle tickets online using a PayPal feature…
